Chanakya is compliance management software for Practising Company Secretary (PCS) firms handling Registrar of Companies (ROC) and Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) filings. It brings client records, filing calendars, approvals, DSC and DIN records, documents and billing into one workspace. Your team can see what is due, who owns each task and which work needs review. Clear checklists and separate preparer and approver roles help standardize filing workflows, while a separate database for every firm keeps practice records isolated. Partners gain better visibility into outstanding work as client workloads grow.

Calendar and Task Tracking: Generate client calendars from your firm’s Acts and Rules, assign filing tasks, and track statutory deadlines alongside your internal due dates.
DSC and Director KYC Management: Monitor Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) validity and Director Identification Number (DIN) records. Expired or missing DSCs flag dependent filing tasks as blocked.
Maker-Checker Approvals and Audit Trail: Assign separate preparers and approvers, return work for corrections, and retain a dated record of approvals, document uploads and task changes.
Documents and Statutory Registers: Maintain versioned documents and 16 statutory registers. Generate board resolutions and notices using stored client details, with checks for missing information.
Connected Inbox, Billing and Reports: Link client messages to tasks, create GST invoices from recorded task fees, and export reports showing overdue work and team workload.
Sign in to your firm’s workspace using an account created by your administrator. Your role controls access to client information, tasks and documents.
Add client companies, directors and signatories, including relevant DSC and DIN details. Record holding, subsidiary and associate relationships where needed.
Generate a compliance calendar for each client and financial year from your firm’s register of Acts and Rules. Select a filing and create its task.
Assign a preparer and approver, set an internal due date and follow the task checklist. Route connected email or WhatsApp messages to the relevant client or task.
Upload supporting documents and review their latest versions. Check signatory DSC validity and keep the client details needed for board resolutions and notices up to date.
Send the prepared task for approval. The approver reviews the work, records corrections or signs it off, with each action retained in the audit trail.
After completing the filing, update its task status. Create GST invoices from recorded fees and export task reports to review outstanding work and team workload.
